1995 grand marquis starter

First off i wanted to say thank you for reading my post first. And secondly i had a question can anyone tell me what would be the best route for me to take when taking replacing a starter on a 95 marquis any special tool i need, those last two bolts are really bugging me

Just be sure to remove the neg. battery terminal and then just remove and replace. What is bugging you about the bolts?

No special tool needed. a speciality tool is a tool made just for that model of car.


You might need a swivel ratchet head or a regular ratchet with a long extension that has a swivel on the end with the socket attched. try this and it should get at those bolts

You might try removing the solenoid from the starter, to allow access to the
two rear bolts. It is held on w/ two torx screws.
