1997 Limited Edition
 

I own a 1997 Grand Marquis, white with a blue rag top and on the d-pillar of the rag top, there is embroidey that says limited edition with the mercury logo. I have no clue why it is marked limited edition, but it was purchased brand new. Anybody know why?
