1997 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

I'm hoping someone on this forum could offer me some advice on my 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis... Ever since I changed my air filter my Merc keeps stalling out when I come to a stop or make a sharp turn... any ideas? My mileage is 204,000 and I was hoping for another 50,000. :) Thanks!

I'm not sure. a new fuel filter can't hurt anything doubt it will help though.
