2005 GM catalytic converter problem?
 

There is a clanking in my exhaust system (I think) that I thought was a loose heat shield. Everything seems tight. It happens when I accelerate or even in neutral when I gun it. I am thinking it is something in the converter. The car has 24,700 milels on it and is like brand new. It sounds like metal pieces clanging around in a tin can. Any ideas?

sounds lke to me that the baffles in the muffler (s) could be loose, but with 24,000 miles on it shouldn't it be under warranty ?
