2007 GM Only blow out defrost n floor

2007 GM Ls only blows air out of the defrost and floor vents, also not blowing out heat when changing the temp. I thought about changing the O-rings in the VAC. Will that fix the "no heat" issue? I've had the car for 3yrs almost, great running vehicle.
