4.6 to 5.4 swap
So turns out my engine somehow hydro locked itself from either coolant/gasket issues or flooded cylinders, anywho this will be the 2nd engine I burnt up and this time I'm looking into something different. The engine turned over and runs like dogshi.
I was wondering if there was a cheap route on this one.. a junkyard 5.4 from a late 02-04 salvage yard plug and play deal. I heard going from a 4.6 to a 5.4 has is pros and cons, but I think I'll be happier with a much upgraded torque band. What you guys think? It just stick with the 4.6? |
