ive been told that a 5.0 l will bolt right up to my stock tranny in my 96 grand marquis .......which has 4.6 vin code w...its got life left to it with 178000 but i want to switch soon ....any pros out there with a deffinate answer?????????

 

a 5.0L wont bolt to a AODE transmission.... only the early aero bodied 1992 will that still have the AOD transmission

 

thank you much for the answer ,which saved a big headache...this car is worth the time and money..its a summer time car ..white.... just painted it myself .came out great. cragars .flowmaster etc.....ill have to shoot some pics soon if i can figure out how.i bought this car new in 1997 18 miles on it ..had it ever since
