Hi, guys.

My bro has a 1985 marguis V6 3.8 which 47k on it. The parking brake doesn't be relased all the time. The driver's side of rear wheel don't move while the gear is D position and try to accelerate the car. I mean only the passenger's side of wheel is rotating. By the way the car is no problem to go to backward. What I suspect is the power streering hose problem. I replaced a power streering pump, but it didn't finish the job yet because thehose (return and pressure)is leaking. That's allwhat Iknew.Anyone have the same exprience?

Thanks.

sounds like the parking brake cable isnt releasing on th one side. see if you can reach the cable and yank on it a lil bit with somebody pulling the release. another thing to do would be to check the back brakes and make sure it is all together. you might have to put new brake shoes on along with new hardware. if you do it yourself, it will be between $30 and $40 and your time. you should also take the rear drums in to be turned if they are grooved on the edge.

Thanks for an answer bro!!!

Isn't hard to work? There are a lot of rust so I'm scary to touch the brake lines. And can I get a repair manual which is aPDF file version?

Thanks.

not the brake lines... there should be a cable that runs to each of the back wheels. it sounds like the one rear isnt releasing. if you can take that wheel off, pull off the brake drum if possible. if it seems like it dont wanna budge, bang on the drum in a few spots to see if it loosens it since they get stuck on by rust. about the best way to get a manual is to go to the parts store since they will have one or can order a repair book. the books usually cost around $20. wal-mart carries a auto repair cd for use on computers. it is called Auto Tech 3.0here is a link to the cd on ebay...
