88 grand Marquis performance?
 

OK so I'm new to the gm and I know nothing about them. I just bought an 88 gm and I want to tune the car a little, for fuel mileage. This is what I want to do... long tube headers, h or x pipe, flowmaster 10 series mufflers, cold air intake, 180 t stat and some plugs and wires, possibly a distributor. Any help would be great. I bought it for 600 bucks and want to drop about 12-1500 into it on performance, let me k ow the weak points of the cars. This is going to become a daily driver/sleeper car

I would Get the motor boarded 30 over and put trick flow intake mod or elercbrock intake then change my gears in the rearend.
