Replaced motor and multifunction switch with bone yard parts. circuit breaker is good, power and ground at the connector (4pin) for the switches on the motor are ok, washer works, wire diagram shows a wiper control module-
Where did Ford hide it??
Thanks

Does not appear to be in the under hood fuse box, found a unit on the left fender with the right number of wires but the washer still worked with that unpluged and according to the wire diagram the washer is controlled through the wiper module. Son is gonna have to try to trace wire bundel under the dash, Clifford the big red diesel goes to the dealer for service Wed. so I will be talking to parts and service there to see if we can learn anything. Meanwhile
they are driving oru 02 Explorer and the 05 Superduty is our daily driver.

+5 for "Clifford the Big Red Diesel."

I wish I knew where the control module was, but I'm not going out in 14 degrees Farenheit to look at my M GM.

14 is way to cool to be outside messing around, bad enough at 40 - 45 out in the kids car port.
Looks like I will be trying to pick the parts/service dept. brain at Nissen Ford,
hope they will co operate. When we find the location then if the problem is a broken wire, as the fuel pump relay power was, the fix will not be to hard.
Know where there is a donor car, even the same color in a local wrecking yard for parts.

Final result, $10 from the local pick a part for the module all is well with that part of the boys car, also replaced the gas filler door switch - kid is happy he does no longer have to get out in the rain to open the trunk to open the gas door!!!

yeah, that would get annoying fast. Glad that's sorted.
