What is the difference between F7AU-17504-AA and F5AU-17504-AB wiper motors?

The F5AU-17504-AB is the factory-installed wiper motor for the '95 model year.
The F7AU-17504-AA is a later version of the same part.
Either one should fit and function in your '95 G. M.
If you have a choice, get the newer design -- F7AU-17504-AA

Thanks so much for info. Pulled both from auto salvage. Hoping to fix wipers that do not park. Wipers work but stand straight up when turned off.

About those wipers --
There is a KEY in the shaft that drives the wiper arm. The keys fall out almost every time a wiper is removed from the motor shaft.
Without the key, the wipers CANNOT lock into their correct position, relative to the position of the wipers when "parked".
After dealing with the nightmare of lost wiper-shaft keys on a '92 Crown Vic and a '95 Merc, I came across the perfect solution.
Replace the wiper arms with DORMAN Wiper Arms, which are made with a PERMANENT key that's molded into the wiper arm.
It CAN'T get lost, and wiper installation/removal is quick and easy.
