sure. the Police suspension is Junk. The only good thing are the sway bars. Everything else makes it sit high and not corner well. Keep in mind that police cars are an all around suspension. That theseare made for off road also to chase bad guys. this is not something you want in my opinion.

the marauder is a good factory suspension. You are going to need to find out if anyone knows if it will bolt right up.

The other option is using parts from a mustang to lower it. Just about any performance shop sell suspension upgrades. The best way to post this question is to let evryone one know how much you want to spend and what you are trying to accomplish. For example: do you want it lowered and to corner well or are you doing a 1/4 mile supension. Try this and see if anyone knows about it for the 97 platform

Since you have a ''''97, the upgrade options are relatively few. The police components do work rather well, for the price, however.

When I rebuilt the front suspension on my ''''96, I installed 2002 PI springs and shocks. It stiffened the ride, and seems to have raised the car about an inch vs. the worn out stuff I had. Being that my car was a Police Interceptor, it already came with upgraded swaybars. I was not satisfied w/ them, so I purchased and installed a pair of ADDCO swaybars (1 inch in the rear, 1.25 in the front).

One final note: I do not know what size wheels you have, but most 92-97''''s came with 15 inchers. I would recommend upgrading to the 16 inch wheels found on 98-02 Panther Platform vehicles (CV/GM/TC). On my car, upgrading from 15''''s to 16''''s was the single best mod I had done. PS: Most mustang and Marauder suspension parts will not work on your Marq. The only thing I can think of, that could be used, would be the 21MM rear swaybar.Edited by: theredlineboss
