Default airbag beeping

back again because my airbag started beeping again after a few months.

does anyone know where the speaker is that produces these beeps? I'm thinking it's like inside the computer because I've ripped the dash apart with no luck.

I have no problem taking it off I just don't know where it is

thanks

What year is it?

My airbag is inoperative as dash light tells me so. And there is a module in dash that does beep.

sorry forgot to mention that.

it's a 1993. forgot which submodel it is but it's the better one with digital dash leather all options etc

the dash light has always blinked. it's the damn beeping that drives me crazy. I put a lot of time in my car and have it looking good but the beeping makes me hate to drive it

looked a few times to find the speaker but I havent had any luck

Mine is a 1992 with only driver airbag. No passenger airbag.
Mine has the flashing light on dash. The number of flashes tells what is the issue. Mine is 3 flashes and means there is a fuse or short issue.

The fuse - not in the fuse box - but the fuse is in a blue module under/behind dash where the passenger airbag would go. I took that module out and sent for repair. And that module does beep on occaision. The module was NOT the issue and I don't want to spend the money for some mechanic to search and search for some short which I was told might be in the steering column.

On the 1993, I am told Ford did place an airbag in the passenger side so your set up might be different from mine. But I am told that these are first generation airbags and you may have the same module that is causing the beeping.

You can kill youself fooling around with airbags so be quite careful.
