Blower motor quit working
I Have a 2003 Grand Marquis with only 58,000 miles. Everything has always worked fine until yesterday and the blower motor quit. I am not a mechanic but I have checked all the fuses under the dash, under the hood and also the relay under the hood..all are good..Also straight wired the motor from the battery and it works also.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to go next? Thanks |
replace your blower motor resistor, i would recommend getting one from a junk yard.

I just obtained a '93 Grand Marquis LS with ATC for $700, and I absolutely love this car (and I'm not generally a Ford fan - see my user name - that's my first love). The blower only works on high in either manual or automatic setting. Other than that and a few minor things, this car is in great shape.
I'm trying to find out where to locate the resistor in the HVAC system. How difficult is it to replace? |
You are talking about the blower motor resistor? If so, it is under the hood, passengers side, next to the plastic housing behind the ac parts on the firewall, mounted with two screws.
