Default Bumper heigth

I had a class 3 hitch installed with a wheel chair lift. I'm trying to figure out the original bumper height. So I can install the proper springs. anybody know. Measured from low point of rear bumper to ground.

Well it's kind of hard to measure at the bottom of the bumper because it flexes. I measured it at the center of the rear axle from the ground to the bottom edge of the fender & it is 28 1/2" on my 09 GM with 1/2 tank of fuel. It also has the coil springs.

I cannot take the measurement you did because I am disabled. Flex or not, from the bottom of the bumper to the road is close enough.

I guess I wasn't clear when I said the center of the axle. Standing outside the car , or sitting in a chair by one of the rear tires, just measure from the road to the fender above the center of the tire.

Just for the record, at the center of the rear bumper I get between 11 3/4" & 12".
