Chiltons or Haynes?

I got a Haynes repair manual but I'm not feelin the lack of illustrations. Does anyone have the Chiltons or both of em and can tell me which one is better?

I should add that I have an 87 Grand Marquis

In most cases the Chilton's are better. Haynes never covers enough topics in any that I have seen, & over the years I probably have about 30 different ones. Don't have any for the 87's.
