I have a small problem. My air conditioner works MOST of the time in my '01. It will work for weeks then for no known reason it won't work. Example: I drove to Chicago from Detroit. It was fine the whole trip then when I get in it the next morning, Nothing!!!! It worked again later that day. You can hear the compressor but no blower........I changed the blower recently because I thought it was that but it has done the same thing twice since then.... It seems to be no reason for it(outside temp.,inside temp., time of day, trip length) Any Ideas??????

 

loose connections to the blower motor... resistor pack being wonky (loose connection to the pack)... if you have the automatic temp control, the controller being wonky... the temp sensor on the automatic control has a bad connection/is flaky... there's a flaky relay for the blower (don't even know if there's a relay, but there might be).

If you don't have the automatic temp control, it's probably one of the first two.
