Has anyone experienced this? If so, how was it resolved?


I have an '03 Grand Marq LS that I bought used about a year ago at a local Merc Dealer. A month after I bought it, I had to take it in to have rust removed from the bottom of the doors (all 4) where the outer skin is welded to the inner. It was covered totally by a stated "corrosion warranty". Less than a year later, the rust is back. Now the dealsership says Ford will cover part of the repair if I am willing to "support" part of the cost. Has anyone else had an issue with re-occurring rust in this area? How was it handled?
