Hello, I recently purchased a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis GS, and I need to know how to recover my door lock code? I've checked the trunk hinges and I don't think it is on the door module behind the drivers door panel. Where else can this be found, on my vehicle? Thanks in advance.

 

those are the 2 spots to look at, sometimes the previous owner will write down on the owners manual or glove box

 

The only other way I can offer but sadly not common is have someone with an extended license to forescan plug into the vehicle and there is a program to run to grab the code. This will only pull the master code so you will have to reprogram it to delete the user code. But you can never delete the master code. Thats what I did to grab the code as I bought mine from an owner who passed away the family sold me the vehicle.

 

You could also find it on the right or left trunk hinge it'll be a white sticker black text with 5 digits. At least that was where I found mine for my 99 MGM.
