We're trying to find the flasher location on a 96 Mercury Grand Marquis, 4.6 V8. Even 2 local mechanics couldn't find the dang thing! Could it be stuffed up somewhere where it can't be seen? Any thoughts?

Does the vehicle has automatic headlamps? If so most likely your flasher is part of your lighting control module and not replaceable without replacing the module.
