Looks so clean, doesn't it?

And those nice cupholders, much more organized than the original ones (on '95 and later models).

Did I mention before that I DON'T EVEN HAVE CUPHOLDERS IN MINE?

I saw an 05 LSE with that arrangement. I'd looooove to have buckets in mine... and yea, sorry about no cupholder

That makes it even harder to shop for another one. So many "things" you like on different models.

Comes back to our other post of building our "own" one I guess.

Looks pretty nice. I test drove an '03 Marauder at the Dodge dealership here in town the other day and it was the first Mercury I had driven with floorshift. It was a pretty nice car but a little bit too expensive for what I'm looking for. But yeah...maybe in future models they will have this standard.

i saw an 03 marauder a few weeks back and it too was above my price range. wish they still made those or at least made the 300 hp engine in the grand marquis, and like you say the floor console shifter and buckets - love that look

wonder if a transplant with some custom work is possible. but replace the stock shifter with a hammer shifter. hmmm custom things just get me all worked up and giddy inside.

No need to wonder, cause this is custom work!

just saw a video of a newer(00-04) grand marquis with a 5 speed manual transplant done to it on youtube.com. i personally am completley amazed and now am considering doing this because i like my ratchet shifter but theres just something about bangin thru the gears and under complete control. idk, anyone have any thoughts, ideas, ot comments.

-cheers
