How to remove overhead console in 2005 MGM

I need to replace a bulb in my overhead console on my 2005 MGM. Do I have to remove the console to do this? I so, how do I remove? Thanx

Use a soft strip of wood or plastic to pry the lens off.
Amazon sells a kit with plastic tools for working with and around upholstery.
