Not that I am aware of. It''s just a small, sealed, one-piece unit right?

Pretty much you''er stuck just replacing them as they die... I''ve had my suspicions that these things get too much heat due to their location.... I''ve noticed that other manufacturers put some sort of a little heat sink on their coil... Been contemplating a similar arrangement once I get my GM converted over to the coil over plug getup...

The coil and boots, DPFE sensor, the MAF and the plastic manifolds are common problems with your 2000.

I haven''t heard of anything that you can do to make them last longer.
