Anyone know where the jack is located in trunk, 99 Grand Marquis?

Under the spare, under the rug and rug board? Maybe. Not 100% sure.

check the trunk sidewalls. there should be a panel with a finger hole or handle that will allow you to pull it down. The jack should be behind that. If not, it may be mounted behind the spare tire, but I would bet on the sidewall.

And here is where it was for fact, placed by the factory (circled in red). You have to pull away the liner (velcro behind), there was the jack with the lug handle in it):

I recommend reading or buying the owner manual, you will find all the answers to most common questions is it.

No luck yet on finding the owner''s manual.
Yes... It was on side wall of truck.

for the owners manual... you can download a PDF of it here (just click on Owners Guides on the left and select your vehicle)

it says on page 127 that the jack should be mounted on the right behind the carpet. if the hole is empty, the car doesn''''t have a jack.Edited by: slymer
