Thanks to 92 Mercury I think I will be able to fix my windows!


Now I need to try and figure out my heater/AC problem. I have a feeling it is some kind of flow regulator I keep hearing about but dont know for sure. Any help In this Subject will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

what kind of car? sounds to me like a vent door is not operating correctly to allow it to blow across the heater core and such.

i would feel the heater core lines when it as at operating temperature. if both are hot and no hot air, sounds like a blend door problem. it controls how much air is allowed to pass the heater core and such.

Good advice. any easy way to get to the heater core lines?


How do you check the AC? I believe it has the old coolant also. r32I think. I am not looking foreward to tearing this dash off. But if i an fix the air and the windows I will have a great car.

go to your settings... click NO next to where it says wysiwyg.it will get rid of all the extra writing in your post

if you have old setup for a/c, it has the smaller tire stem looking connections. newer set up if you remove the cap looks like a hydraulic setup with a ball in there instead of a tire stem looking connection.
