I have a 78 Mercury Marquis (400) (did not see a forum especially for the older Mercury).

The circuit board that operates the oil warning light, brake light, etc is bad. Have not been able to locate one, and most of the lights work except for the oil and brake light.

I would like to run a 2 wire socket and have it pop in where the light is now. Does anyone have any idea of a part number for a socket that would fit? I believe this would be the simplest most inexpensive way to deal with this.
