1992 Mercury Grand Marquis.


OK. I get the repaired/rebuilt/fixed airbag module back.





In the instructions, it states to NOT put the rebuilt airbag module back in until I find out if my Mercury has "Seat Belt Tensioners".


Here is a direct quote from instructions:


"Many customers install the airbag computer and then find out when the airbag light goes back on that the vehicle was equipped with seat belts that have airbags too and they MUST BE PREPLACED."


Anyone know what he above quote means? And what parts they are talking about?
