self testing airbag components

Hey!
We have found the air bag module and have successfully disconnected everything that has to do with the air bag. My question is, can we self-diagnose problems with the components? I mean is there anyway that we can check using theterminals to see if there is a problem?
Thanks

my guess is that there would be power on one side, and non on the other. would need an ohm tester, or test light to verify if it is getting power. i would be careful so as not to set off the airbags

Can you give me an idea of which terminals to check? I mean, there are alot of them, we are unsure of which ones to check to see if it is open or closed.
thanks for the help!
