Sunroof Failure
 

Hello, I am new to the forum and just acquired a 2005 Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition. It has low miles and is in excellent condition in every way. It has a sunroof which I didn't want but works fine. But I assume since it is an electric motor that it will malfunction at some point, likely in the open position while it's raining. If this happens is there a provision to close it manually if it fails while open? Do they fail much? I am very reluctant to use it.
