Default tire pressure false warning

Hi: Only had my car three days and I do like it a lot. Replaced a jaguar xj8 that was getting to be a mess and this seems way simpler and superior in many ways. But even though there is 35# at all four corners, I am getting a tire pressure warning that easily resets but can it be banished properly? Is there a little wire at the hub or near rim or does it use ABS data to make assumptions about rotation count? Thank you. --Tom

Sort of reposting this with new info. Found youtube movie on tire learning and sure enough my car will go into learn mode. But no magnet I tried on the LF stem will "teach" the system the first tire and after a minute it gives up and exits learn mode. One must proceed in order it seems so I gave up when it would not get the first one. Has anyone done this successfully? Should metal caps be off the valve stems or does that not matter? YouTube guy put a donut type magnet around the stem but I only have a disk magnet. Does that matter? Thank you.
