the tire shop should know best what will fit on those wheels. this is very non-standard territory and may require extensive adjustments to wheel spacing and maybe even wheel wells to prevent rubbing. (but then I don''t know much about wheels that big since I like to keep my cars with curb hopping capability)

You may need a lift kit first. LOL!&n bsp;22''s with 265/30 somthings will actually fit on a Marquis? Don''t forget to change the speedo gearing. Driveshaft angle? Kidding! I see special edition Harley F-150''s w/20''s and they just about fit the overall look. Hey I''m not knocking your post. Afterall that is the style these days. I just think a pair of 17 or 18 inch Mustang rims would look killer and you would probably have better handling. Just out of curiousity, how much do those rims and tires set you back?

As far as the spacing and clearance you are pretty well on your own but this handy tool will help you determine tire size differences. I found it very helpful when I was shopping for new rims.

Personally, I know it is the style now but I think these cars look MUCH better low and sleek than up in the air with wagon wheels on it. But to each his own! Good luck on your search and remember to post a pic or two when you getthe new wheelson the car
