it isnt luck, it is skills that will let your Grand Marquis to rise from the dead and give you joy once again. sucks that something like that would happen going down the road. if it makes it any better, you are ok i hope and the car can b repaired. your car protected you while hurting itself.

to get rid of the google crap, go to your settings and click no where it asks about the wysiwyg |
Sorry to hear about that. Why did the tie rod broke? I would inspect that first, you never know, it could happen on the other side as well.
Regarding the damage, that is not that bad, IMO. Hood an fender are easy to get (as they are identical through most of the face-lifts), a headlight new runs around $50, and all the other parts are not that expensive either. I guess it all depends on how "addicted" you are to this car. You can buy another one for the same amount of money you would have to spend on parts. But if you like to swap parts, well, then you got your project now. What's the story with the new one? Why no motor nor transmission? And I would certainly check out the tie rods! Good luck. Greetings! |
i would consider tie rod ends, pitman and idler arms getting replaced. how do the link pins look or are you gonna change those also?
