I have a '93 Grand Marquis.


1. When I turn my A/C on, the oil temp gaugestartsto riseup to somewhat in the last quadrant indicating the engine is over heating. Can someone help me figure out this problem? I'm not sure if i'm right, but I think it has something to do with the thermastat and/or the water pump.


2. I also have a problem with this ticking sound coming from the passenger side of the engine. I thought it just needed an oil change and a tune-up considering it didn't have one for quite some time, but neither one of those fixed it. So I ask for some suggestions on this dilemma as well.
