has any one tryed this on there mercury cougar
 

i have the same engine that is in the mustand as well as the trans. i updated the motor due to how many miles on the original and blew both head gaskets due to bad ones being it had the first gen mod motor when i replaced the engine i replaced the trans due to it was starting to slip. i worked at a mercury ford dealer at the time got a great deal for the engine and trans 4k for engine and 3k for the four speed from ford racing. kinda wished i went for the tremics five speed auto but didnt have the money. so here is my question has any one updated the intake manifold on there cougars to the new ones that have the better design. i just wanted to start some thing to help get an idea on who thought of it
