Replacing Front Bumper Insert

Anyone know how to remove and replace the satin aluminum front bumper insert on an 06 Mariner (with the MERCURY name embossed)? The shop manual thatI have doesn't address this. Some guy mowing a lawndented this insert with his riding lawnmower! [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]

Yes, there are 3 tabs on the bottom that have to be released first (put a flat blade screwdriver in between the bumper cover and the satin insert), you can see them from underneath. Once the bottom is loose, rotate the bottom towards you and the top comes right out. I replaced mine under warranty (I work at the dealership) just beacause those stupid holes they drilles for the tag bracket. It's easy to understand this process if you have the new one to look at before you tear into it.
