if a power steering surge is causing the lines to move enough to rattle, they are probably just tie-wrapping them against something..i used to work at a dealership, and youd be amazed at how many recalls are fixed with tie wraps..

youv'e got to be freakin kiddin me.

not at all..

i am trying to recall the specific recall, but when the tech would go to the parts window and ask for the recall kit for so and so number, it was LITERALLY a zip tie, in a plastic bag, and a razor blade with which to cut the loose end.

I assume you are talking about the dashboard message center. Your car is still under warranty so run it by the dealership, let them read the codes and have them fix it. The vehicle just came out this year and there are going to be bugs even though it is built on theFord Escape Platform.

that is a good point.
