2010 mercury grand marquis A/C problems
 

Hello! A couple months back the A/C completely stopped working in my 2010 Mercury grand marquis, it just blows 90 degree heat no matter what the temperature is set to. Recently, I’ve noticed that heat is constantly blowing from my feet vents, and I can’t seem to turn it off! Very uncomfortable with the warmer weather setting in. I’m assuming this problem has something to do with my blend-door motor? Help!

Have same problem with 1999 MGM.
I placed the ac controls in ac position.
Disconnected battery and then reconnected battery. Started car and somehow blend door switched to cold air position

I ended up unplugging my A/C compressor and plugging it back in, and miraculously the A/C works now! Although, it only seems to want to blow from my defroster vent.
