Air suspension
 

Hi there, I have a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis. It has new airbags in the back for the suspension. However, recently the air compressor will work for a few days and then for a few days it will not work.. When it does work everything is fine and there are no leaks. What could be the problem?

Take it back to the shop that installed the "new" air bags to have it checked out.

it was in 2015 when the new system was put in. Could it be the level sensors? I changed the relay under the hood and changed the air compressor. It worked for a day after doing that but the problem started again. All this work I can do myself. I just want a push in the right direction. This was my parent's car. I've never been to a mechanic in my life. I fix everything myself. If I can't figure out the problem I will just install coils and be done with it ;)
