mercury mountanieer 2003 transmision
 

I´got a problem with tjhe transmission of my mercury mountanieer 2003, when a start driving it i have problems to change from 1st to 2nd gear, i've to slow down rpm from engine so de change can be made, the real problem is that one of my mecanich said that the problem is in the solonoid and other mecanich says, is the whole transmission, can some help to know what happening, because it's a lot of dollars difference, thanks a lot.
