My wife has an 06 3.0 Premier. I believe it to have a FNR5 transmission. All of my reading indicates V6's only got 6 speeds? The transmission has no bottom pan just a drain plug. The valvebody is on the front of the trans horizontally. Any help? I need to do a fluid flush and want to ensure I get the right stuff. I checked Rock Auto and they sell a filter for the FNR5 which seems outrageous since this trans has no pan. Leading me to wonder if I do indeed have an 5 speed?

I got it.... it's a 6 speed. Makes me wonder about the knowledge of the people using this Forum. wow
