Water leak in drivers side floor
 

In my 2009 Milan, I have a water leak in drivers side floor that reaches into the back seat floor. I am in the process of removing matting on the footwell under the carpeting, where the pedals are located. Its difficult to remove this padding because it connects to the electrical. I may have to cut this wet matting. It doesn't appear that the leak is coming from high up If anyone has experience with it,, let me know.

Update: back in March I peeled back the wet carpet and matting underneath. I surmised that the water was coming in by the subframe bolts and or firewall seams beneath and near the pedals. Using spray foam, I sprayed all suspected areas and also the driver wheel well outside. I haven't had any leaks on the floor since this time.
