Looking for help - 02 Mounty - w/6cd changer radio. The issue is as follow: the RDS feature on the radio seems to work only for about 2-3 minutes after you turn radio on... then it gets stock...it will not provide info on the new songs/artist or the station until you change the station or power radio on/off.. Went with this to the dealer a couple of times and they told me that this is normal operation ... well - if this is normal then why have RDS at all? I have another car with RDS and this works as it should, updating station info, songs and artists all the time when the radio is on.. I also drove other cars with RDS and they all worked fine.. Not a big issue - but annoying.. any help, ideas or suggestions will be appreciated...I'm due for the last visit before the warranty expire, so I would love to have this fixed.. Thank you
