OK, I may be an idiot, but, I can not seem to figure out how to get my automatic temperature control to blow hot air. In the summer there wasn't a problem. I push the auto button and set a temp and the ac went on and maintained the temperature blowing faster or slower as needed. But now, it doesn't seem to want to heat to that same temp. I have tried pushing the auto button then pushing the ac button to shut tha ac off but this doesn't seem to work. The only way I can heat up the interior is to set the temp to 80 degrees or more. Am I doing something wrong? Shouldn't the auto setting maintain a temp whether it is cold or heat? I have read the manual and it only really addresses the cooling aspect. Also, when I push the ext temp button it registers 100+ degress all the time. this past monday when I left for work it was 24 degrees. The ext temp read 117 degrees. Does this have something to do with the interior temp?

Any help would be really appreciated.
