hi,im new here i got a 1998 mountaineer v8 awd took driver door panel off to install new speaker as i was lookin at the opening for speaker my power locks started going crazy off and on real fast and it wont stop but the locks arent goin up and down u can hear inside all the doors tho them clickin on and off..i pulled fuse#18 out and it all stopped...please help[img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]

 

check that all wire harnesses are still completely connected in that door. also, if yours has the keypad on the outside of the door, check that the control module has all wires secure in it too. you should check that there''s no debris in the actual lock switch as well from the door panel.

not real sure what would cause that problem though. almost sounds like there''s a control module that''s gone whacky (alarm, remote entry, etc).
