I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and I''m trying to replace the stupid dome lights.


The dealers only carry the bulb 168 this does not have the plastic housing. Is their a way to remove the bulbs and just replace them?


Can not seem to find a replacement for PC 579


Anyone got a good source for replacements? OR putting in an LED?

the bulb should pull out of the plastic base. you can then use 168 or 194 slot style bulbs.
