2000 Mountainer Starting

When I first start my Mountainer in the morning, or after it has set for several hours, the engine rev's up then instantly dies down to idle.
Is this normal.

Yes. Just the engine adjusting the air/fuel mixture.

Ok, thanks. Was hoping it was something normal.
We just bought it a few months ago and love it.
