2004 Mountaineer with engine in fail safe mode

I'm new to working on Mountaineers. Mine needs both front wheel speed sensors and also the rear speed sensor. Any suggestions or advice? FYI I'm going to do the work myself.

As long as the wheel bearings are ok, the sensors are no big deal. I'm not sure about your year, but the sensors should be on the 2 front wheel bearings and on the drive train/transaxle.
