hi all!


Surprisingly satisfied with my new '06 Mounatineer,i was even more surprised when i locked it into 4x4 and start turning corners, therewas an obvious and loud clunk'n noise.


In addition, once it starts, the noise even happens in straight lines when slowing down.


idriven over64,000km, but noticed it after 5,000km when i tried it for the first time.


Took it back many many many times and even the service manager took me in a ride in another customer car and demonstrated it was 'normal'.


I gave up and accepted defeat, however, now my warranty is over, im wondering if anyone else has experienced this with their '06+ mountaineer.


btw, When the car is running in AWD normal mode, there are no such sounds.
