Hello, my 06 has 35K and I want to change the transmission fluid and filter. However, I cannot find the dipstick. After some research I do not believe there is a dipstick. So, After removing the pan how does one get the new fluid in and check the level?

thanks slim

Well, I figured it out and there is not a dipstick accessible from under the hood. The dipstick is on the transmission and is only about three inches long. Also, it takes a 19 MM socket or wrench to remove a plug that exposes a tiny yellow dipstick. After changing the filter and bolting the pan back up. I used a long piece of hose with a funnel stuck in it to refill the fluid, used about 6 quarts.

I think this is stupid. Still, to check the fluid level the vehicle is to be running in neutral. So I have to crawl under a running vehicle (in neutral)with a tool to pull this tiny dipstick next to a smoking hot exhaust, dumb. Why not a traditional dipstick?
