It appears that I have lost my fuel pump. The only thing baffling me is why the relay doesnt engage when I turn the switch on. I have jumped the relay and checked the fuel pump switch under the dash and get a minute amount of fuel. So I think the fuel pump is getting full power. The only thing I can think of is that there must be a fail safe that in the event the fuel pump fails it disengages the relay so power doesnt keep going to it. Am I on track here?

 

I also have not any information about fuel pump.
